Primary Objective of the Position:
The successful applicants will assist with aircraft troubleshooting duties and ensure duties are performed in accordance with Cargojet’s MCM, MPM and technical documentation.
Essential Position Functions:
Perform the maintenance of aircraft as established with Cargojet’s MCM, MPM and technical documentation.
Perform aircraft certification and maintenance release in accordance with the requirements of the MPM and CAR 571.
Ensure that all spares issued for aircraft maintenance are maintained to the same standards as issued until installed.
Ensure that all unserviceable components are properly tagged and returned to quarantine stores.
Complete and certify all necessary maintenance forms, log books and paperwork.
Report all SDR (Service Difficulty Report) findings.
Adopt a proactive approach to discern impending failure modes.
Be knowledgeable with all company and government manuals and documents pertaining to their work.
Perform any other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
AME M2 License.
Experience with B727, B757, B767.
Post-Secondary Aircraft Technical Training.
Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).
Ability to use computers – MS Word & Excel.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
