Transwest Air is currently looking for an Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or Apprentice to join its growing Maintenance team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing avionics maintenance for the Transwest Air fleet and external customer aircraft. In addition, this position is a flexible one in which the technician is expected to perform non-avionics scheduled and non-scheduled work including aircraft rescue missions as needs dictate and as directed by the Production Manager. All work to be completed in accordance with Transport Canada and Transwest Air standards.
You would be a great fit for the Avionics AME position if you possess:
High School Diploma
Minimum "E" Transport Canada License
Minimum 3 years experience in Avionics, repairs and installations
Ability to demonstrate self-motivation
A passion for safety
Capable of working unsupervised
Demonstrated communication skills in fostering positive customer service relationships
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Ability to stand for a majority of the work shift
Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
Previous experience working on King Air 200, Beech 1900, Twin Otter, and/or Saab aircrafts would be an asset
