DHC-2/DHC-3 Float Pilots for 2019 Season

#1 Post by Clarks Air Service » Sun Oct 07, 2018 7:22 am

Clark's Air Service is now accepting applications for the 2019 float season. Our operation is based out of Northern Lights Resort on Cedar Lake which is 40km north of Vermilion Bay, Ontario, on the famous Hwy 105. We currently operate a DHC-3 Otter, two DHC-2 Beavers and a Cessna 185. We are seeking energetic and experienced float pilots for our DHC-2 Beaver and 1000HP DHC-3 "Polish" Otter aircraft. We are also seeking dock hands with opportunity to move into a junior pilot position on a PA-18 Supercub for the right candidate. We are family owned and operated running over 20 remote outposts, 2 drive-in fishing resorts and a fly-in fishing lodge. Clark's Air Service was established in June of 2018 in accordance with the latest safety and regulatory requirements, and we are committed to operating in a safe and professional matter. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. MINIMUM requirements for our positions are as follows:

DHC-3:
1000 hrs TT
500 hrs PIC on floats
200 hrs on DHC-2/DHC-3

DHC-2:
500 hrs TT
200 hrs PIC on floats
Time on type an asset!

Dock Hand/PA-18:
Commercial License with float endorsement
Some float experience an asset!

All applicants must be bondable, legally entitled to work in Ontario and hold a valid CAT 1 medical and commercial license with float endorsement. We are not currently seeking C-185 pilots, but please feel free to send in your resume as a position might become available. Wages are very competitive, and commensurate on experience. Accommodations are included. Positions are very labour intensive, and our pilots MUST be willing to spend nights away from base on occasion. Pilots must also be willing to rotate to other aircraft as required. Only candidates selected through our screening process will be contacted thanks.
