Air Spray 1967 Ltd. is an aerial fire suppression company located at the Red Deer Regional Airport. Air Spray is proud to have been protecting our forests and communities from wildfires for 51 years. Our service excellence is one of the many reasons that we are continually relied upon to ensure our forests and communities are protected from wildfires, and we are seeking new members to join the team!
We are currently recruiting full-time, permanent:
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)
Test, troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems as required
Perform work in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations, regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Complete all work orders, check sheets and records accurately and in accordance with regulatory procedures and/or manuals
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment, reporting any potential hazards
Complete tasks as assigned
Possess an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (M1/M2 ratings)
Proven technical aptitude
Able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
Current Canadian Driver's License
Fluent in the English language (oral and written)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as, climb, kneel, and crawl frequently in tight spaces
Flexibility to work shift work and overtime, as well as away from home during summer field assignments
