SkyNorth Air is accepting resumes for the position of Beechcraft King Air Captain 200 - Medevac Operations. Please see the minimum qualifications listed below:
-2000 hrs total flight time
-500 hrs Multi PIC
-Transport Canada ATPL licence
-Transport Canada Group 1 IFR
-Category 1 Medical
-Ability to obtain a clear Manitoba Child Abuse Registry & Criminal Background check.
-Candidates with pressurized turbine, Northern/bush experience, and two-crew operation with SOP's will be given preference.
Air Ambulance flight crew operate on a one week on - one week off schedule from satellite bases within Manitoba. Fully equipped accommodations at Northern Satellite bases provided by employer. Arrangements/accommodations in Winnipeg required by employee while on duty. Employment requires on call, day/night and weekend availability as per the rotation above. Flight crew will be required to be available for ongoing training consistent with the operation (i.e. recurrent flight training, ground school, CPR, etc.).
Salary range for Direct entry King Air Captains is commensurate with experience. Pay packages will be sent out with contact. Mileage-flown incentive formula of Base pay plus milage, Northern per diem, and additional day pay also in effect - Top industry pay is offered for this position.
In 2018, our top 5 senior Captains averaged between CAD $120,000 - $140,000 gross earnings. Full Benefits package available to all employees following probationary period, and company sponsored RRSP/DPSP program available after 12 months of employment. Training pay scale in effect until successful completion of initial flight training and PPC. Conventional pay scale takes effect following satisfactory demonstration of intial line indoc/line check. Captains are eligible for annual retention incentive bonuses. Training Captain positions offer a premium in addition to base salary. Direct entry, new hire candidates bringing a valid King Air PPC and type rating are eligible for a conditional signing bonus.
General flight preparation and responsibilities consistent with the operation of an airplane, including but not limited to: assuming the responsibilities of pilot-in-command with all aspects related to the safe operation of an airplane, piloting of aircraft, aircraft grooming, elementary maintenance, aircraft fueling, aircraft record keeping, communication with company dispatch, and assisting and working together with AMS (Aeromedical Specialist) staff where required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a Medevac crew. Flight crew members are expected to be individually accountable and self disciplined individuals who keep themselves knowledgeable with respect to their aircraft and all regulations concerning their operation. SkyNorth Air believes in a strong concept of total crew involvement to operate safely and efficiently. As such, we operate our aircraft in a two crew environment with strict adherence to company SOP's.
