Position: Flight Operations Administrator
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a Pilot with low flight hours just starting out in your career looking to join a regional airline with a goal of pursuing your flying career? Calm Air is looking for an aviation professional to join our team in a Flight Ops Administration capacity to then transition on to the flight line.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Project manage current and future Flight Operations systems such as runway analysis, route and aerodrome analysis, electronic flight bag documentation, and supporting Flight Operations documents
    Contribute to Flight Operations projects and initiatives
    Administrative Support to the Flight Operations Department
    Distribution and Tracking Flight Operations Documents
    Maintenance of Flight Operations Training Files
    Assisting Flight Operations personnel in developing and documenting policies and procedures
    Organizing and taking minutes at Flight Operations meetings.
    Organization, maintenance and regular update of Flight Operations publications
    Assisting with the formatting and editing of memos, bulletins, manual amendments and distribution
    Coordination with aircraft chart providers, aircraft performance, third party document services and subscription services.
    Maintenance of the Flight Operations library database and library classification system including the library master manual list
    Updating and maintenance of all technical and operational manuals in the Flight Operations
    Department and Aircraft Onboard libraries in each aircraft, as required
  • Post-secondary education in related field preferred or a combination of education and experience may be considered
    Previous management experience
    Strong leadership skills (coaching, mentoring, influencer)
    Proven ability to work independently and work under pressure
    Excellent computer skills required ( MS Office )
    Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
    High degree of accountability
    Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships
    Must be able to acquire a Winnipeg Restricted Area Pass (enhanced security clearance)
    Proven ability to work independently and work under pressure
    Must hold a current valid passport; if you do not hold a Canadian Passport then a Canadian Permanent Resident card
