Base: Winnipeg, MB
Shift: 7 Days On, 7 Days Off
Hours: 6 AM - 6PM or 6 PM to 6 AM

Base: Thompson, MB
Shift: 7 Days On, 7 Days Off
Hours: Monday to Friday 5 PM - 5 AM, Saturday to Monday 3 PM to 3 AM

Base: Sioux Lookout, Ontario
Shift: 7 Days On, 7 Days Off
Hours: 12 PM to 12 AM

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
This position is responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
- Inspect airframes for wear or other defects
- Marshaling and towing aircraft
- Execution of work as indicated by supervisor
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Modify aircraft components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications
- Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventative and corrective aircraft maintenance

Required Education/Experience
- Completion of a Ministry of Transportation approved/accredited Aircraft Maintenance Program
- Any, or all, of the following Licenses: M1, M2, S, and/or E
- Ability to qualify for Airport Authority Security Clearance (RAIC)

Desired Education/Experience
Dash 8 and/or Metro aircraft type endorsement an asset
Aboriginal awareness and/or Cultural Diversity Training
Valid Driver’s license
Verbal and written skills
Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

Special Conditions
Periods of heavy lifting up to maximum of 100 lbs.
May be called upon to work overtime
Ability to meet constraining deadlines
