We are currently scouting a team member for the newly created Aircraft Maintenance Base Engineer position. The person selected will be responsible for the aircraft maintenance operation of CAM’s Regina base. This position involves many areas of the business and offers immediate and on-going opportunities.

• Operate Central Aircraft Maintenance (CAM) base in Regina:
o Maintain aircraft operating out of Regina and any transient aircraft either Kreos owner or privately owned
o Help CAM grow in Southern Saskatchewan
o Building relationships with private and commercial operators in Southern Saskatchewan
o Perform daily inspections, pre-flights and post flight activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness, safety and on-time departures
o Participate with scheduling and performing heavy maintenance checks
o Perform line maintenance items and AOG support when required on aircraft
o Support Director of Maintenance (DOM) with administrative duties in Regina
• Follow Company procedures and policies along with Transport Canada Regulations:
o Learn and understand company Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and company Maintenance Control Manual (MCM)
o Learn and understand company aircraft tracking systems and parts inventory system
o Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with all manufactures and company recommendations and regulations
o Perform tasks as assigned by Production Manager or DOM
o Generate Work Report and Job Cards for maintenance activities
o Evaluate Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Letters and Service Instruction Letters
• Communicate with other departments of the company:
o Communicate with dispatch / operations for flight information and changes. Review aircraft status and advise management of any potential downtime that impacts the flight schedule
o Preparation of annual aircraft maintenance budget for approval by DOM
o Participate actively on health and safety and SMS committee and system

The successful candidate will reflect CAM’s unrelenting culture of exceptional service and will demonstrate the following:

• Must hold a valid AME license category M1 and M2 with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Available to have a flexible shift schedule when needed
• Sound troubleshooting skills and a team player are assets
• Computer skills to enable interrogation and downloading of information from aircraft and to operate Aircraft Maintenance System (AMS) program
• A valid passport to travel outside of Canada if needed
• Experience on Cessna and Beachcraft aircraft an asset
• RAIC and AVOP an asset
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Organizational skills, with the ability to plan ahead, solve problems, draw required resources, and not let anything fall through the cracks.
• Adaptability; able to work independently on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced and highly regulated setting.
