With over 50 years in the airline industry and a strong culture of safety and service, NWAL, a family run airline, is known for producing the highest quality of aviators. Our pilots develop the skills to become safe, competent and confident professionals and our training is designed to help them succeed. Whether you are at the beginning of your airline career, or wanting to grow into a long-term career, we have a spot for you on the NWAL team! NWAL operates a fleet of Jetstream 31/32 with more than 100 weekly departures from our various bases. Our main hub is in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.
We realize that moving to the Northwest Territories can be a new experience. At NWAL we have programs that assist with this change. We offer discounted employee travel, a reciprocal jump seat program with a major Canadian airline, significantly reduced air shipping from Edmonton to Fort smith, company paid housing for the first 2 weeks and a flexible schedule to make sure you can still maintain your relationships elsewhere. We are a growing airline looking for ambitious, motivated individuals to join our mission to provide best-in-class air travel to Canada’s North.
Fort Smith – We are a friendly community of roughly 2,600 people. We are nestled in the boreal forest along the banks of the mighty Slave River located to Wood Buffalo National Park, an outdoor paradise. In summer the land abounds with birds, fish and animals. The trails are endless, and fences are rare. In winter it becomes a peaceful oasis of sparkling snow, clear skies and Northern lights. Our community is very social and welcoming to new people from all different backgrounds. Fort Smith is an active community with a focus on arts, culture and recreation combined with a passion for adventure and outdoor activity! The town provides a wealth of activities and events throughout the year for all ages. We look forward to welcoming you!
