Making the switch to "The Dark Side"

Post by DA42 »

Hey guys,

I currently have my PPL FW and I'm very seriously considering leaving it at that and getting my commercial Heli. I have bighorn heli at springbank in mind. What are you thoughts on "where" to train? Are operators gonna prefer someone who did his training "right in the mountains" (ie. somewhere in BC)? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
What do you guys know about great slave helicopters training?

I heard Tech Helicopters in Prince George, BC is a pretty good school to train at. Some guys I know went their and both recommended it. Training in the mountains is a must! Definately check them out. I haven't heard anything about Great Slave.

The dark side? hahah. It only looks dark from the other side. Once you switch over i guarantee you will see the light.
