pick-up near Bloodvein
At the end of July my daughter was among a small group of girls paddling the Bloodvein River. After a lightning strike they sent a request for assistance, and a helicopter brought the RCMP to make sure they were ok. I do not know who the pilot was ... the RCMP keep things confidential ... but by this message I would like to thank him for his trouble, and let him know that my daughter found the episode shocking but is now ok.
