Re: Typhoon Flying
It looks surprisingly similar to 150 knots at 25 feet.
I can't quite conceal my disappointment in the aircraft type, though.....

I can't even stand my own talking/breathing. So much that I fly with my own intercom off.

Re: Typhoon Flying
It was a video sponsored by a museum. The production quality was high and the visuals pretty impressive so IMO a bit of commentary where the pilot verbalizes what he is experiencing and thinking is entirely appropriate.AuxBatOn wrote:I can't even stand my own talking/breathing. Bottom line: The taxpayers are paying for this guys spiffy fighter jet and I think most watching are going to be impressed. This is a PR win for the RAF. When you inevitably have to give up "living the dream" and get moved up to senior staff position in CAS or NDHQ you will understand why your comment expresses the all to typical fast air hubris that the RCAF can't afford......

BPF,
The comments were meant to be tongue in cheek. Get over yourself.

Re: Typhoon Flying
A couple of quick questions, please?
What mission are those guys training for, zipping around at low level in the 'mountains' like that? Ground attack? Lugging 'the big one' undetected to a destination?
What generation is this aircraft, and what advantages does the F35 have over it?
Thanks!

Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?
