Yes I too hope the best from them. I would suspect that they are getting funds from advertising and such. I hope they do well as I think that this could be pretty epic.

Great undertaking, hopefully not too many issues along the way. It's possible they may be self funding from savings, though as highflyer mentioned advertising might be helping out a bit. It would be cool if someone put together a book or video of their adventure.
