The C-17 is one hell of an airplane. First time I saw one it was doing steep turns over Trenton - not every day you see the top of a large transport plane from the ground.

That's part of the River Fire Festival in Brisbane. I was there last year.
They had an F-18 flying low along the river (full afterburner) between the buildings and helicopters hovering at 20 feet along the river.
The C-17 came very late last year and it was dark so it flew a bit higher.
Nobody minds - didn't hear a single complaint. The whole city came out to watch and enjoy the show.
Later they had an impressive fireworks display.
