Its the perspective, helicopter I guess, makes everything look different, angles steeper etc and ground in background makes it look faster. Still cool though.

Just re-watched. It's the overhead shot on the rollor I ground effect. Plane looks cartoony.
A few shots have that appearance of going slow due to the thing being so huge. I always notice in real life when I get a chance to watch the AN-225 it looks like it's going slower than it is, especially on final.
