Transat
So Transat is making a big announcement next week about their narrow body fleet. The contract with Canjet is up April of 2014 and apparently it's hasn't been renewed. So could Chorus/Jazz possibly be in the running for this work? They have already done this type of flying before with Thomas Cook. Food for though anyway!

Re: Transat
Jazz was approached by Transat as was Enerjet and the likes for quotes etc. Jazz said Flat out, NO. After the disappointment that was TC maybe they know there limits.

Re: Transat
Jazz has an amazingly capable workforce. Unfortunately the board at Chorus and the upper management have no interest in branching out beyond the CPA with Air Canada.
Re: Transat
For the money that Transat and other tour operators want to pay for lift it's not worth it. Why do things at a loss just to say you're doing it. The TC operation was not a disaster and we did actually very well. TC was just able to buy seats cheaper on WJ than flying their own 757s.
