interview in a couple weeks

Hello everyone,

I would like your opinion on something that all of you might be able to help me with. My interview is coming up in a couple of weeks and I was wondering whether I should shave or not. my beard is not long whatsoever, I trim it down every 2 to 3 days and the length is about half a centimeter. I'm not sure what the rules are at jazz but I don't want to screw things up.

We are allowed to grow beards up to 1/2 inch in length (13 mm). That said, I would shave for an interview, but that is just an opinion. If you choose to keep the beard, make sure the neckline is shaved.

Also, just because someone in upper management decided beards are ok it doesn’t mean everyone likes them. There are lots of people here who disagree, some training guys included. If you get one of them for your interview or sim it could unconsciously bias them in a negative way. You can’t possibly go wrong with a clean shaven face.

Beards are allowed but its a brand new policy. Id go clean shaven for the interview then get the beard back once your hired if you want
