Experience level
Hi everyone,
I am wondering what the average experience level is in the latest ground schools. Are people getting in with no ATPL? Does Jazz have the approved PIC under supervision program? I am sitting at 1600 TT 500 Multi turbine 2 crew and 950 PIC (single).
Thanks
AJV

Re: Experience level
No pic under supervision program. They do higher pilots without ATPL but you need your Iatra or A's written.

Hey AJV !
With that amount of time you d probably have a good chance to get a call ! Try, they re preparing two upcomimng groundschool in April and May. I know a guy who got in with your time with less PIC and yes he had his IATRA written. As far as I m concerned I m just a little more experienced than you are and did the whole interview/sim/references check and drug test (last week), waiting for a final call ...
My 2 cents,
Volez !

People with less than 2000 hours are getting on at Air Canada. I would be applying there aswell.
FYI I`ve seen guys getting on at Jazz with 600TT

Yes your correct you need a ATPL to work at Air Canada not the case at Jazz. People have been hired without it but had to actually have it when you start. And yes Experience is not what sets you apart from others, they hire based on the computer exams (psych eval). So dosent matter if someone says they are more experienced than you are, if you show AC your not a suicidal, kitten molesting, likes listening to music in the dark kinda guy your on your way.

I think if you don't listen to music in the dark you haven't lived.
