These pilots will walk away scott free, and so they should.

From all that I've read, ATC bumbled this one up, not just so the controllers, but the system they are using down there is flawed, and provides contradictory information to controllers, have a read on IFATCA's finding on the accident.

Hi Airtids, sorry no I can not confirm the TCAS setup on the Legacy.

A TCAS system can be stand alone if the altitude information is routed directly to the TCAS processor and not via the XPDR.
