This is like the 4th advertisement for instructors and especially for Seneca!
I've toured their Peterborough campus and it's gorgeous to be an instructor there.
They're even paying class 4s over 4k a month!
Is there a shortage of instructors ? Is it going to get worse ?

Re: Seneca coĺlege flight instructor position
From my experience, they are very "selective" who they hire. With that salary they can afford to be so.
They prefer to hire grads, but with everyone hiring even 200hr pilots, then I'm not really surprised they're having a hard time filling the position.

Re: Seneca coĺlege flight instructor position
The requirement to have a degree in order to instruct there has been dropped. To my knowledge they used to be pretty stringent on that before but the industry is moving. Harder to hold onto the ones they hire as bigger things start calling sooner and sooner.
If instructing is where you want to be, you can make a safe and consistent penny with them.
