Flying to CYHU
Hey everyone! Planning to fly to st. Hubert in a few weeks. Planning to stay couple of nights. I've never had to park overnight anywhere. Do I have to choose one of the big FBOs there or is there somewhere else I can park? Thanks in advance
Re: Flying to CYHU
Google shows 3 flight schools outside of the larger operators and FBOs. Cargair, Saint Hubert Flying School and Air Richelieu. They probably have cheaper fuel and parking and I'm sure would be welcoming to a transient aircraft. Look them up online, give them a call and see who has space and fuel for you and ask about costs. I'm sure someone there would be happy to drive you to your destination in town too if they're headed that way.Dmccann wrote:Hey everyone! Planning to fly to st. Hubert in a few weeks. Re: Flying to CYHU
Pascan is a good FBO. They have always treated me well, gave me courtesy car when there for quick visit.
Call and ask for Julie, nice lady, very helpful.

Oh and if you have a sweet tooth, make your way over to Heyez Chocolatiers in St. Bruno de Montarville.
About 5 minute drive from airport. Totally worth it!

I would suggest AeroTeknic, a small family-owned old fashioned MRO / FBO / Flight School with an informal and relaxed ambiance. They'll be happy to have you on their ramp. 100LL is available. Give them a heads-up before showing up. The large flight schools mentioned are very impersonal and Pascan is very commercial - if that's what you're looking for.
