RMI questions on INRAT

Post by clairvoyant »

....just out of curiosity, what are sort of RMI related questions that typically appear on INRAT?
I went through the Aerocourse practice exam, and other prominent exam materials and I haven't seen anything trivial.

Thank you for your help folks.
No, I am not looking for any shortcut. I just want to be better prepared.

I do hope they're still asking questions relating to ADF or the sextant...

Or Lost Orientation on the Radio Range.

Or Aural Null Timing, Distance, Homing, and Letdown.

Man. Them were the days...

Not.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

I just wrote the INRAT a few weeks back, and I don't recall any questions at all about RMI. Do make sure you know lots about GPS though.

I think it's luck of the draw as far as questions. I knew of someone who got all HSI questions and no GPS.
Which LO chart region did you get as far as questions?

It will be sad if I fail the GPS parts when I work on the majority of GPS database interfaces.
