Two year old article?
Yes about one of the most interesting members of the flying / restoring community.

It gives us a break from professional pilots arguing about why they don't want to wear parts of the uniform supplied by the company they accepted a job from.

Bob is a real breath of fresh air for some of us to read.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Thank you for all the pics and stories folks. This is why I read this forum in the first place. All the bickering on the other threads is pretty toxic.

Sorry but, it was news to me. I am fascinated by the guy. He might do things a bit on the cheap but he makes things that fly, so good on him!

I took these in 2014 while wandering around the Planes of Fame. It'll fly eventually. If you've never been, Chino is a seriously fun place to check out.

Do people fly in the planes he has "restored" or are they for static display? No offense but his craftsmanship seems to be a bit lacking based on this The Defender movie I'm watching.
