Well we had another hum dinger of a storm rolled through sunny Manitoba this weekend. This is a picture of a 206 and a stinson mating, winds were recorded up to 113km/h. It looks like the tie downs were ripped right out of the ground. Feel sorry for these operators, with this happening with the season almost at an end. In total 5 planes ended up rubber or float side up, and the elevators were torn off a DC3, poor old girl.

Please resize or delete your photo. I think it is pretty inconsiderate to post such a large photo. Ask some one to show you how to resize if you really don't know how.

I'll just have to live with the knowledge that you don't like the size of my photo. Is it just envy?

Actually I know how to resize it, I thought some might want some detail. If you don't want to wait for it, then don't.

It's sad to say that I use to fly the 206 in that photo. I had just returned it to Selkirk for the end of season a few days prior. Our company, Knee Lake Lodge is taking it in stride. After all that's what insurance is for. Nice photo though.

I heard that the Dackasourus Rex in the background lost its tailfeathers also.
