I'm thinking of flying the route above, departing YKZ, and it's going to be my first one in that particular airspace. With all the Class C surrounding, and no-overfly zones, it appears to be rather complicated for the first time.
I'm wondering if anyone of you are familiar with the way it is usually done (i've heard a number of companies practice "sightseeing flights around Downtown" there). What are the things to look for, hidden stones, tips, recommended alttitudes, anything like that?

Depart Buttonville follow the 404 south.
Stay below 2000'. (If you go above this, call terminal 133.40)
After you pass the 401 (around Don Mills & DVP), Call 'City Tower' on 118.20
They will let you fly anywhere from about 1600-2500' asl.
City Tower guys are very accomodating, wont give you any trouble as long as you always keep them informed of your intentions!
Hope this helps.
