Living in Montreal but wanting YYZ
Hello everyone. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster
I just applied to NAV CANADA and passed through the first phase. I currently live in Montreal, and my French is really weak, so not bilingual whatsoever. I applied in the hope that I do my training (if I get there) at YYZ, since I'm planning to move to Toronto anyways.
My question is at what point in the process can I choose where to go and how can I do that? I heard that you can apply to an ACC of your choice rather than being forced to where you live (in my case YUL). And is it possible to do the assessment at YUL and train at YYZ?
Thanks for your help.

Call them. What can anyone here do except tell you to call them?

Ok, I guess I'll call them then. Thanks.

Sorry for being straightforward. I just think there are some things online forums can’t solve. A quick phone call could open more opportunities than you can think!

No worries dude You're right and I know you're just trying to help.

I don’t know when you are allowed to transfer your application, I do know that once you are waiting in the pool you can switch FIR though as I have discussed with HR a couple of times. Best to send Joanne an email
