Dear Mr. Bush:

Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that a drag.

Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren't there to begin with?

Last Thursday I was in south Florida and sat outside while the eye of Hurricane Katrina passed over my head. It was only a Category 1 then but it was pretty nasty. Eleven people died and, as of today, there were still homes without power. That night the weatherman said this storm was on its way to New Orleans. That was Thursday! Did anybody tell you? I know you didn't want to interrupt your vacation and I know how you don't like to get bad news. Plus, you had fundraisers to go to and mothers of dead soldiers to ignore and smear. You sure showed her!

I especially like how, the day after the hurricane, instead of flying to Louisiana, you flew to San Diego to party with your business peeps. Don't let people criticize you for this -- after all, the hurricane was over and what the heck could you do, put your finger in the dike?

And don't listen to those who, in the coming days, will reveal how you specifically reduced the Army Corps of Engineers' budget for New Orleans this summer for the third year in a row. You just tell them that even if you hadn't cut the money to fix those levees, there weren't going to be any Army engineers to fix them anyway because you had a much more important construction job for them -- BUILDING DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ!

On Day 3, when you finally left your vacation home, I have to say I was moved by how you had your Air Force One pilot descend from the clouds as you flew over New Orleans so you could catch a quick look of the disaster. Hey, I know you couldn't stop and grab a bullhorn and stand on some rubble and act like a commander in chief. Been there done that.

There will be those who will try to politicize this tragedy and try to use it against you. Just have your people keep pointing that out. Respond to nothing. Even those pesky scientists who predicted this would happen because the water in the Gulf of Mexico is getting hotter and hotter making a storm like this inevitable. Ignore them and all their global warming Chicken Littles. There is nothing unusual about a hurricane that was so wide it would be like having one F-4 tornado that stretched from New York to Cleveland.

No, Mr. Bush, you just stay the course. It's not your fault that 30 percent of New Orleans lives in poverty or that tens of thousands had no transportation to get out of town. C'mon, they're black! I mean, it's not like this happened to Kennebunkport. Can you imagine leaving white people on their roofs for five days? Don't make me laugh! Race has nothing -- NOTHING -- to do with this!

You hang in there, Mr. Bush. Just try to find a few of our Army helicopters and send them there. Pretend the people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast are near Tikrit.

I think it mentions helicopters somewhere near the begining. I stopped reading it after that... and you're right, it is getting a bit old.

Anybody see the press interview Cheney was giving in New Orleans and somebody walking by says "@#$! you Cheney!" but what was funnier was when he said it again and Cheney heard it.

The reason I dislike people like michael moore and other radical liberals is because they have no concept of reality only theory. Theoreticaly the U.S forign policy could contribute to 9-11. In reality it was caused by quacks crashing into the buildings with airplanes because they think that we are all infidels against god. Conservative or Liberal we are all their enemy. I don't understand why people can't see that.

MM never said K-mart was to blame....but responsibility needs to be taken. If you don't think selling gun ammo by the crate to a teen in black eye liner and a trench coat is f@#k'd up, you need to re-evaluate your common sense thought process.

I have a funny feeling that people do not like Michael Moore because he speaks his mind and comes up with his own ideas about issues. Plus he gets alot of publicity and money from it.

I see very little people complaining about Howard Stern when he does this kind of work.

It is a movie and it is his point of view.

If people choose to believe it thats fine.

If they dont, they dont.

If you dont like Michael or his views, make your own movie. And see how people view your theories.

The fact that they knew that the hurricane was going to be devastating prior to the incident why didnt the government take actions earlier. Why didnt they do airlifts out of New Orleans? May be they should get their heads out of the sands and face reality and possibility.

Well A. That's discrimination if they only sold guns to the gang bangers and not the crazy teens...

B. I think it's more "f@#k'd up" to have parents that tolerate this crap and if you want to blame "place" responsibility on anyone the parents are at fault and we should do like the Isreali's used to do, bring down their house and take it up a notch kill their parents. BUT since the columbine boys only did it after they were bullied we really need to "stop" bullying and none of this fancy $20 million ad campaign about "stopping bullies" no, no. Your child is a bully we kill the child and the parents.....

You're right it is societies demise with all these bleeding hearts running around screaming.... Children wouldn't speak in class and now they're talking and playing while the teacher is teaching. They don't listen to their parents, and if the good parents try to discipline their children they go to jail(Dad who spanked his kid on the van hood got 1 month).

What's really funny is that the lefties blame Bush for the hurricane's very existence. I am not making this up - one of the Kennedy idiots said that GWB was personally to blame for global warming, and as an expert climatologist, the Kennedy idiot "knew" that "global warming" was inarguably to blame for all hurricanes.

No one has yet told the Kennedy idiots that hurricanes long pre-date "global warming".

I await for the lefties to try to blame the Vietnam war on GWB. As I understand, they are very upset that GWB wasn't over there naplaming villages and children, an activity that lefties presumably are strongly in support of.

If you don't think it's a black and white issue then I invite you to take a holiday in a middle eastern country other than isreal and see how long you last.

Finally all the false intel in the world doesn't make a lick of differece. Fact is terrorists destroyed the WTC, and commited numerous other attacks that people seem to forget about. All this planned prior to Bush. The war is on the only way to fight a war is to win it. Canada's position in all this reminds me of France in WW2 mabey if we just sit here and do nothing they will leave us alone.

Someone should do a documetry on how the Clinton adminisration contributed to 9-11. That won't happen because all these artsy film maker types are liberals by nature.
