Morning Star B757 ad

Post by 170 to xray »

I am interested in the Morningstar job ad. I realize this ad is for an FO position and that Morningstar is not looking for any direct entry captains. I also understand, and rightfully so, that Morningstar prefers to promote from within.

My question is, what is the expected upgrade time to the left seat?

Thanks.

This is from their website.

Upgrades: Seniority-based upgrades to the B757 in as little as 12 months depending on position vacancies. Movement onto the ATR-72 is also an option.

Does your skin get pale from all the night flying? Sure is a nice bird, that 757 and the folks I know there are some of the tops.

I too am also interested in the usual info in relation to the 757 operation.

Is YMX only for the ATR or do they have 757 crew based there also?

Are you pretty much Monday-Friday

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I took a look at their agreement that I found online. It appears to be an excellent job, but one that won't work for me. It's not worth me leaving my current job for.

Is this a commutable position? Does Morningstar have reciprocal or passes with any other airlines?
