There's nothing cool about an F-35. Even the F-18 (which I've heard they're using) is significantly less interesting than the F-14 which was the star of the first movie. Hopefully the enemy airplanes are something special.
Have you seen an F-35 fly in person?

I have and it was truly spectacular. It’s capable of absolutely astonishing things.
I hate to burst your bubble, but the astonishing things the F35 is supposed to be capable of would be invisible to you watching it fly.

I had the opportunity to see an aerobatic demonstration by the F-35. You can take my word for it, astonishing what the aircraft and pilots are capable of.

But my favourite jet at the moment would have to be the F-22 raptor, saw it at the Trenton air show, was spectacular.

f35 vs latest f18 35to 1
f22 raptor vs f-18 87to1

f22vsf35 45to 1 ergo there is a reason the usa wont sell the f22 to anyone even though they would have many customers . its in a league of its own as an air superiority fighter . how about the theme song being ' Renegades' that was very cool
