True, however the danger remains that this pay will go down again quickly as soon as the music stops. That is another factor in deciding to go for an instructor career. They pay's there. Now we need stability to convince the right people.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Given that general aviation is no longer producing Class Ones by the bucket full, I think this level of pay might be here to stay.

This is amazing. I don't know what the cost of living in Chilliwack is, but that's a very decent living salary. You could find a lifer for 72K base +

That or a very cozy early retirement gig. What a time to be starting a career.

That is I a decent wage. I wonder if they actually plan to hire any class 1s or just let the hungry class 4s see the carrOt on the stick.

Naw.....thiscompany has such a sterling reputation for treating instructors fairly and paying them fairly as well, that could not be the case.

Maybe some of their many, many ex instructors can comment on this company’s WAWCON.

They can offer 150k a year, it still doesn’t make it so.

This is bluebird we’re talking about. I doubt you’ll see that money.

Interesting they have multiple job ads when they’ve been suspended since March. A real standup school indeed. I wonder where they get the money to pay their instructors?

It sounds like Bluebird usess the Raf theory of business.

It is an untested issue at law if a provincial body, this Private Career Training Institutions scam, can regulate and effectively negate the federal authority to operate a flight school. Parasites on both sides of this one, it would appear. There is no provincial authority to regulate aviation.
