You are right nothing is certain but thanks for the dates at least we have an idea of what to expect:)Lightchop wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 11:43 am Who are these Jazz pilots? Because on the line, no one really knows anything about GS or training trends. I'm more worried about why my crew snack didn't show up on ice. Those who say they know are likely just spreading a rumor they heard from a guy who heard from a guy who's seeing a girl in HR.
The only thing that is certain, is nothing is certain. The call will come when it comes and GS will start when it starts. Nothing is in your control until you start training. All you can do is wait.

Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
People find it a little funny because the average total time a pilot has coming to Jazz lately ranges from as low as 800T to 2/3000TT. "ish"
Ball parks, however, the average experience level has been below 3000TT.
I assume you have more than 5000TT?

Why doesn't Jazz hire experienced applicants?
Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
I would imagine they do...but they haven’t had a Gs all summer and I don’t think calls have actually gone out for September, seeing as everyone I have spoken with has heard nothing. That’s probably whyRoadrunnersmother wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 3:19 pmNo luck so far.KenoraPilot wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 3:04 pm

Hmmm it’s a long shot with only King Air time. I’d suggest going out and buying yourself a Dash-8 typerating. If you have the cash book an RJ sim for better chances. Checkout CAE or Flightsafety.

If you're gonna go that route, just book the challenger shuttle sim and come in with some orbital time and I'm sure that'll get you a nod.FighterPilot wrote: ↑Tue Jul 31, 2018 9:43 pmHmmm it’s a long shot with only King Air time. Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
A Dash 8 or CRJ type rating is not on the list of hiring requirements.
Re: Jazz Pilot Pool
They were being sarcastic A friend of mine had straight Navajo time and got hired so King Air should be just fine I would think.

No but it will help! Or you can really secure your chances with Jazz by getting a 737 type rating, that will really go a long ways in your career.Roadrunnersmother wrote: ↑Wed Aug 01, 2018 9:11 am A Dash 8 or CRJ type rating is not on the list of hiring requirements.
