Who's left in YQR, you and WW? Does this mean more gov't and charter work coming your way?? So what happened with Southern?

I hope it means more work. Sounds like their pilot quit and so they decided now was a good time to call it quits. Ya so it's just us and WW now. They already have the hanger leased out to someone else. Some gymnastic group

This company at one time had a great fleet of aircraft. Lost their best Pilots and Engineers years ago. Just another family run business that began its nosedive once the son took control. You can't sit around waiting for the phone to ring, you have to go out and hustle for business.
Great opportunity lost! Hire good people, pay them well,and let them do their jobs. Bottom line.

They've got a C421 that has been parked (in what was) Hamilton Flying Club's hangar. It's been there for over a year. Is this this same "Southern Airways"?

I don't think so it's Southern Aviation Ltd. They have a merlin that's been in the hanger for a few years and a 414

Sad to see this happening, Regina, was once a happenin' little airport....now its a "backwater" dieing a slow death....just like the rest of that province.

Have you seen the price of Uranium lately - and there are what, 5 or 6 Uranium mines in Northern Saskatchewan - the largest producer of Uranium...In The World!

Take a look next time you fly into Saskatoon - you might notice the new housing developments in all 4 corners of the city.

Other than the Riders, Saskatchewan is doing just fine - Good thing I'm a Lions fan!

Glad to see Edmonton beat B.C. Just means if Edmonton can do it then Saskatchewan sure can.

I was beggining to wonder if anyone was going to be able to beat B.C

Tons of development going on in Regina these days as well. Too bad it isn't being reflected at the airport.
