No word yet? I interviewed in early March and waiting patiently....
Yep still waiting also. 4 weeks today
If you’ve passed the 4 week mark after interviewing that’s usually a good sign.
Folks have been rejected after 3 months and accepted after 3 and 1/2

Hence why I said usually.

It's been done before when interviews were much harder to get. My little company averages one per year but bear in mind it's never been one of the sub-thousand hour group who are climbing over each other to get to the door. I think AC's lowest bar to the interview is 2000 hours total.

Anyone know if there is a course on May 13th? I’m just going on every 3 weeks so I’m guessing there is. And they should be filling that one soon. Have any calls gone out?

If anyone gets a call for that course, could you post it on here just so we’re all in the loop?

Thanks to everyone for all the info so far! It’s very helpful

I'm wondering if I am better off going to the express carriers or sticking it out here as upgrade times are quicker.
People do get hired from 703/704, but you are not as competitive and trying to stand out in a larger group...

What type are you on? How much are you flying? What's your background?

If you are about to upgrade on a turboprop and don't have much PIC experience, I'd take the upgrade, and then immediately throw my resume in with Jazz/Sky, and plan to go 705 with 500 or so multi-turbine PIC in my book. That diversity of experience is a plus...

There is a big focus in the company right now in training on the basics, no automation, raw data, hand flying... I think especially that a lot of people joining now are only coming through the express stream, have always been dispatched, and only managing automation through their careers. That 705 experience is good, it's valuable - and it's generally a better job - but showing diversity in your background, that you survived a few thousand hours fending for yourself running in a Beech or Metro, including time as a Captain, strengthens that and makes you more competitive IMO.

Would those who received a May 6th ground school mind sharing when they interviewed?

May 20th is what we're planning for. Summer planning has a gs every 2 weeks. Expect mostly express candidates for the next few gs.
