Got an email today for medical and backround check!

kingskate what was your wait time from interview to getting a call back to book a sim eval? Was it the 2 weeks the HR departments states it takes?

Applied online on June 25th then waited 2 weeks for a phone call,Interviewed July 29th, Invite for Sim Eval August 2nd, Did the Sim eval in YYC August 7th, Got an email today August 9th for Medical and Background Check and confirmed if they can start contacting my references.

any update? get call from jazz after medical?

Applied July 23, Interviewed August 9, Sim Eval Booked for August 21. Seems like they’re moving people through the process fairly quickly.

I received an invitation to attend a sim eval and responded with a date and time, but got no confirmation yet. Seems like HR is busy these days?

I interviewed Aug 9, finished the application process and was placed in the pool Sept 6. Seemed like an efficient process on my end.

Can someone who recently went through the process tell me if there is 2 personality tests that you need to do as well? (outside of how they judge you in the sim). I haven't heard or read anything about this on here, and have only heard about it from only one person in person... not sure if its a reliable source so just looking to confirm if thats true or not.

Before the online interview there are three cognitive tests. They are fairly simple, nothing to worry about.

The day of sim eval there is an MMPI test. Just a series of questions which are relatively easy to answer, just answer honestly and don't try to "beat the test".

t the present time. 1000 hrs and 250 Multi is the minimum hiring TT according to HR.

If you are a part of the Jazz Pathways the minimum time doesn’t apply as you get in straight from college into any type of A/C.

Where does that put you if you have recently been put in the pool but don't have 1000TT yet?

Nobody knows. You can have 1000TT and 704 time and be on top of the calling list. Or you can have 1000TT instructing and be somewhere deep deep depp down in the list.
