If you're unable the dates they sent in the email, I'm sure you can ask for another later date in the near future.
I wouldn't delay for too long though. A lot can change.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
I’d try to make the interview. I know guys who tried to reschedule and never got an interview.
Welcome to Redneck Airlines. We might not get you there but we'll get you close!
Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Bid out today is a big one.
800+ openings with retirements and new duty regs.
120 WB Captain openings.
250 NB Captain openings.
There is going to be a lot of movement.
Good luck, I wouldn't be delaying anything right now if your can help it!

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
How far is that bid outlook? That's a Lot of movement
Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Almost 45% of the NB CA positions vacant are 737 positions. Many vacancies in the 737 FO MAX position as well. Guess these 737 MAX's aren't going anywhere contrary to the speculation of transat coming over with "Neos"
Congrats to all. There will be a lot of movements on this bid. Interesting to see how junior some of the 330 positions will go.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Just curious what the time lines have been like from applying until getting the call for a course?
Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
It varies widely from person to person. As a hapless moron with experience but none of it relevant, I was about a year. I applied, got an interview about six months later, got a call for a course six months after that. Sounds like a lot of time but had I rushed into an express carrier I would spent at least two years there so in the long run it was faster to wait. Just a wild guess but if you have 5000TT+ and are not an asshole there’s probably a place in the queue for you. The stressful part is that there’s no way to look into that crystal ball to see where in line you stand.Gonzodriver wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 8:17 pm Just curious what the time lines have been like from applying until getting the call for a course?

I only said “probably” though my face is still a little red. It sucks to get no for an answer, if you really want the job just reapply and take another lap of the process. You wouldn’t be the first to land the job after an earlier PFO.dialdriver wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 7:22 amI got PFOdlownslow wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 6:34 am...Just a wild guess but if you have 5000TT+ and are not an asshole there’s probably a place in the queue for you...Gonzodriver wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 8:17 pm Just curious what the time lines have been like from applying until getting the call for a course?

No worries, it was just my sense of dry humour - maybe why I got PFO'd.lownslow wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:37 amI only said “probably” though my face is still a little red. Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Hi all,
Any word on what the Sept 9th class was assigned for equipment/base?
Also, any update on ground school dates over the next few months?

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Equipment assignments are usually done within the last couple days of the PIT course (which is 2 weeks long). So the Sept. 9th class won't know what they've been assigned until Sept. 18-20.
Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
To add to the above. Sept 9th was close to 50, with only one of them being OTS. The rest were jazz and sky.
Re: The Air Canada OTS thread
Any information on October classes? Heard there were 2 scheduled, so one can assume Oct 7?
Also what are wait times from interview to class?
