UR-CAH AN12 Crashed

Post by broken_slinky »

Looks like the AN12 (UR-CAH) that was in London last week crashed. 5 of the crew killed. First reports are stating a lack of the very important go juice.

Weather was low at the time of the crash. Anybody know if they held or made multiple attempts?

Strange there were fatalities, as it looks relatively intact / survivable.

I think all of the fatalities were up front. There's no flight deck area left.

I got some stick time on a AN12 in Africa and like all Russian aircraft it is built like a tank.

It also had the most instruments I ever seen in any aircraft, I have a picture of it somewhere in my stuff.
