N2....I dont think the jury has had much time to weigh the evidence. If you cant help pointing fingers, try wearing mitts?

Try waiting until TSB has their initial findings before trotting out your pet theories.

If someone knows the name of the pilot involved can you please PM me. I used to work with some people who moved out that way a while ago.
Thanks.

Single engine night cargo, single pilot, in those conditions, in that part of the country/world, has got to be one of the most demanding jobs in flying. Godspeed fellow pilot, rest in peace.

After reading some of the opinions so far on this tragedy, I am glad that we have a moderator who is on the ball. It is all about tact. Think of how you would feel having someone tread on a friend's or family member's memory based on nothing more than speculation and opinion.

Nothing worse than turning the TV on first thing in the morning to see a fellow pilot has died. It is a sad day, Godspeed.

For your information, The weather in Winnipeg, Yesterday and last night, was the worst storm ever in October. By this morning, there was ICE and still overcast. My condolences to the Family

I was once told that aviation is so small a community, if a pilot dies either you know them personally, or know someone who did. I didn't really think much about the comment til a crash outside Ottawa. Turned out I worked with the pilot.
The loss of one affects us all. Heart felt condolances.
For those of us left behind, may your day be safe.
