YUL (Montreal) / In-Person Assessments 2020

Hello!

I applied for Air Traffic Controller - Flight Service Specialist positions in Montreal in mid-January (about 20 days ago) and completed the online assessment a few days after that (I had to email them to send it to me). As of right now, my workday account says Status: Assessment and the Next Steps section reads; We are currently in the process of reviewing your application. Should we require additional information, you will receive a notification with instructions on how to provide. Thank you for your interest in joining our team!

I am curious to see if anyone that has applied recently has been invited to the in-person assessment that I believe will take place either in late February or in March. Has anyone received any updates? I know the job posting said to apply by January 31st to begin testing in February 2020.

Also, side question; In my application I checked off ATC and IFR as my preferred career streams but I am certainly interested in all the positions offered, will I still be considered for openings in all of them?

Good luck to you it's a long process and patience is needed.

I did the online test back in June 2019 and after all the tests (written and language) I was invited last week for a interview.

All I can say is that they told me the next class will take place in December 2020 or January 2021.

So I would think that people that applied before Jan 31st 2020 will be potentially eligible for that class. There is class going on right now and they are 12 candidates.
