I want to die like my grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming in terror like his passengers...

you'd think if they had a contact with an middle east carrier you'd think they'd have that airline in the links page, would look better than just the torontoports and like simcoe links
As for repeating the same line twice beginning and end... just fill, so obviously BS.. like most flight school propaganda

You know, just for pure Jackassness, Im going to find myself the tallest, widedest, ten gallon Skipper lid and wear it like it's the Pope's hat....................all while flying a twin turbine under 12,500 during a medivac to Shamatawa. "Know what Im sayin',sayin',sayin',sayin',saaaaaayin!"

But seriously, how would you ladies and gents go about running Marketing/Advertising for a flight school?
-Honesty (Airline like
-Vague Advertisement (Insurance like)
-Factual (Humanitarian like
-Pessemistic (Anti-Tabacco)
And who would your targeted niche and demographic be? How would you ensure a suistanable business?
Very curious to hear some answers!

I'm not sure about the legitimacy of their claims, but I see that the backward thinking that plagues Canadian aviation is still running strong. I can tell you first hand that there are significant changes happening within the next six too twelve (that's 6-12 for some of you simpletons).
All this talk about putting flight schools down and not paying for ppc's....WAKE UP! You're going to get left behind. India has changed its licensing structure to reduce a commercial license/frozen ATP to 180 hours with a check ride on a ERJ/CRJ/B1900 type aircraft. What do you all have say about that? Hmmmm.....let me go to my bank of smart ass and cynical remarks and pull one out that I've used less than a 1000 times! (It's still an original!) Does anyone pick up a newspaper and try to make an educated remark anymore? Look at regional aircraft sales. Where are the new markets? Still living in the stone age are we?!!
ICAO is building a template of a new license called the MPL which will be 70-80 hours in an aircraft and 120-150 hours in a Level D sim over 12,500. Aaaaah....yes we've all heard these rumours and we've got cracks ready for those too! Too bad it's already started. Too bad that there are proposals already being pitched to ICAO and some aviation authorities have actually accepted the MPL because of the consensus that the new program is a better way to train.
FLYING A BEAVER UP NORTH IN IFR CONDITIONS DOES NOT MAKE YOU A BETTER AIRLINE PILOT!!!!
I'd love to see all the cynics in 5-10 years when the only job you'll be obsolete and Canadian aviation will finally catch up with the rest of the world. Why are you wasting your energy complaining and stepping on others instead of using the combined voice of this forum to make changes. As always, TC and the Ministry of Transportation are always behind the times. We should be keeping up with the changes that are going on in other parts of the world. Japan is changing their licensing system, Europe is way ahead of the game. I guess slogging it out for 5-8 years (for the lucky ones!) before seeing a heavy turbine or a jet is supposed to make you a 'real pilot'.
Wow.....I wonder what they did before they invented the wheel? Maybe some fo you can enlighten me.

I'd question the reality you're living in if you truly believe that those 5 years most canadians spend flying around the north does nothing towards their piloting skills. Clearly any monkey can fly a FMS, it's the decision making and hands and feet skills that will ALWAYS make the bush guy better than the 180hr flight school wonder with a RJ PPC.
