Sunwing offering free seats home....
Sunwing is offering free seats home to anyone stranded....even if not Sunwing customers.
Probably not a lot of seats - but a classy way to go out.

I hope Sunwing and all the other companies make it out the other side. As well as all their employees.

Re: Sunwing offering free seats home....
Ah yes, vying for that juicy government bailout money with "good deeds."
Re: Sunwing offering free seats home....
Meanwhile, you're like school in the summer.
No class at all.
Read the room man.

I don't argue with people on the internet, so you won't get another response from me. Your fetish for commenting on everything possible here makes it clear you would just drag me down to your level then beat me with experience.
Back to Sunwing. Hoping the best for everyone, hopefully big brother holds you up till this is over!!

I don't really care if this is a PR move (I'm sure it is). It will probably help some people who might be SOL otherwise.

Really??? Vying???.....
That is such a dick comment.
The government is going to offer money to everyone. It's not a contest - whoever helps Joe public the most gets cash. I'll bet AC and WJ are knocking on Trudeau's door right now like homeless puppies.
They did it because they have empty seats and people need to get home in an unprecedented situation...why not do it? Not everything in life is an evil motivated action.
Classy to the end.
Re: Sunwing offering free seats home....
So DerateNO starts a new name in February this year and literally comments on every topic on this site with not one good thing to say.
Its clear that he his very new to AC which makes him feel superior and has no idea how this world works. The only way to get rid of a rat is to ignore the rat, just like everyone did in the Westjet threads with J. Swallow.
As for juicy government bailout, yeah why not, if they are going to bring people home in this time of need free of charge than they should get money. Makes sense to me actually, what is AC doing for all of this? Not flying people for free thats for sure.

And what "good deeds" have you done?
Probably the type hoarding toilet paper.

Re: Sunwing offering free seats home....
Final tally....
60,000 customers including
3,300 stranded Canadians (non-customers)
That's more than I thought would get free seats. Good Job!

Vacation carriers tend not to do well with the government handouts in trying times.
Except for one certain company.
