Will the express 175 replace the 190 operations ? knowing that they mostly go to the same places. With all these retiring aircrafts, is TRZ acquisition still a thing ?

Yes looks like ACPA has already put a MOU to allow TRZ pilots to take over.

They're pulling your chain. Transat wasn't mentioned at all or any of their aircraft types. They said 220's and MAX.

What is the pilot total now? 79 airplanes is a lot. I know some new ones are coming but this is really bad. Won’t be any hiring for a few years.

I understand that most carriers have applied for and will receive an 18 month extension to bring in the new duty time regulations. That would make it 2022 at least before we see any changes.

Which is stupid. In no time I will accept furlough while those measures aren’t in place. Now that the shortage is over for years, they need to apply the duty regs now.
