Hey Guys,
So I have done my Cat1 Medical in January 13th 2020 in India, As I'm planning to start training in Canada, Once Covid-19 settles down. I emailed the ONT Aviation services regarding my medical certificate, They replied back stating that, "A file number is generated and will be mailed to me by the end of April 2020".
1. How long does it take for medical certificated to be mailed back to the respective countries ?
2. Am I supposed to pay some kind of a fee, Because I haven't received any such email from TC?
4. Can I request TC to mail my medical certificate by SPEED-POST, Instead of Regular Mail now? How Long will it take to re-issue the certificate ?
3. Just a doubt, But, Any of y'all failed the assessment by TC, Even if you're AME approved ?
Thanks guys for replying, It would help a lot to me and to many other students.

Re: Cat1 Medicals for International Students
Best approach is continue following up with TC. You have an email stating they will send it by end of April 2020. It's been a month and you haven't received it, so get them to confirm they did send it as promised. Then take it from there.
Occasionally something gets stuck in the process and asking about it gets it moving again.
If time is getting tight (or TC obviously delayed beyond a reasonable time), they do have the ability to issue you a temporary medical via e-mail. There's a fee for that (occasionally waived at TC's discretion if TC caused the unreasonable delay).
Renewals are usually much simpler because the Doctor can stamp your ADB and you're legally renewed. No waiting for TC to issue a sticker.

Re: Cat1 Medicals for International Students
If your AME approved and sent it in then it's highly unlikely you get denied outright, however they may ask for further tests if needed i.e. a cardiovascular assessment if your ECG results were high
All the gods, all the heavens, all the hells, are within you.
