A321neo

Post by The Raven »

Curious as to the number seats in the A321neo. What sort of pitch in economy? How high can it get on a full load trans-Atlantic? What’s the cruising Mach number?

199 seats including 12 Club. Full load they cross at FL330/340 .78/.79

Haven’t done that since the MAX took over the route in 2018. The route (YYT-LHR) was suspended with the MAX grounding.

The pitch in economy is 32 inches. We're slower than most at M.78-.79 but we've been crossing A310 for over 15 years in the mid Fl300 at M.79.

Nah with the loads we have, we are usually lower altitudes to start so the faster traffic will over take early on. Once we start to climb up it’s a none issue.
