It depends on how many laid off 1000+ hour float guys are still hanging around looking for a job, I wouldn’t be surprised if next summer 1000 hours on floats only gets a guy into a 185Benm11 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 11:09 am Hey guys,
This season has been a disaster, but I am one of the lucky ones who got to fly a bit, especially since I am a new low hour pilot.
My question is, next year, assuming borders open up with the US and things come back up to somewhat normal-ish levels, what kind of job/aircraft can a new guy find with approx 230-250 hrs on floats and 500-550 TT.
I have a few hours on C172 C180 but most of my float time was teaching on a PA18-90.
Cheers
