Seeing tons of layoffs and union issues 1 year in to the pandemic, I know this place can be a negative one but is there any good news now or on the horizon?

Der Spiegel reporting that they may have to close the supermarkets because of the variants .
Small stores were not mentioned as they are probably already closed . Some permanently.
The good news is they will soon be replacing their latest dictator again

Where I live in Northern Ontario, there are a few companies hiring back and training pilots again, and some scheduled routes starting to pop up. I heard a ton of traffic around Red Lake yesterday, which is nice for a change.

I flew into Teterboro last week and it was as busy as ever. It was nice to see, now if only we could get some of the work back here in Canada but until travellers prison is repealed things will remain slow I fear.
