aircraft dismantle
Hello guys,
I heard it is possible to find and buy some airworthy parts from aircradt dismantle company? Is that true?
Could I have some reliable company?
I am looking for CE560XLS+ parts and PW545C engine parts.
Thank you so much guys!

Re: aircraft dismantle
Yes you can but highly unlikely for the type that you are looking for. Most of these companies cater to the small old type clubs (PA11, C172, etc).
See Texas air parts.

Go do some reading before you try to do this. I’m assuming this is a generally Canadian jet you’re asking about, as this is a Canadian forum. There’s significant regulations that you need to understand surrounding the installation of parts onto a Canadian registered aircraft. It’s not just “go to the aircraft scrapyard and get what I want”, especially engine parts and other potentially life limited parts.
Canadian Aviation Regulations 571.07, 571.08, 571.09, 571.13

I'll go one step further. If your operating this class of aircraft on used parts you a playing a very dangerous game. Your clearly in the wrong game please remove yourself from aviation completely.

Let’s give the OP the benefit of doubt as far as that he/she might want scrap to play with, maybe learn from?

Re: aircraft dismantle
I would agree - except that he's asking for "airworthy" parts from some very specific airframes...TeePeeCreeper wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 9:28 pmAs much as I echo your sentiment...Loon-A-Tic wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 5:17 amI'll go one step further. I will not install a part without a tag, 8130-3, form one, 038.
I am looking for parts from scrapyard to playwith.
Re: aircraft dismantle
Used parts are not allowed on aircraft? Even repaired, overhauled with airworthy tags?Loon-A-Tic wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 5:17 amI'll go one step further.
