Non essential border closure extended to July 21

“Four more weeks” and this will all be over.

Not sure the details but live announcement coming soon with details. Something along the lines of we are all in this together, the world is not safe, and we need to stop covid. Vaccines are not enough, variants, yada yada, if we work together this can all be over.

Lol. Enjoy your UBI, Canadians. The Americans are more than happy to pick up the flying for you.

Enjoy your masks, enjoy your vaxx, and enjoy never touching thrust levers again. Most of all, enjoy feeling superior to the non covid-religious. Your self-righteousness has paid off, by not paying you.

Prediction,

Here is how the pandemic ends. The media is about to pump out all sorts of articles of how the delta variant is just like getting the common cold.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/why-covi ... -1.6069831

"If you take the risk profile down to influenza, it fundamentally changes how we deal with this pathogen ... it's not something that shuts down society," Chagla said.

It will soon be socially acceptable to compare covid to the flu. Funny how this all works! Time to open the economy and get everyone to spend some money... what better way than to tell everyone to just shrug it off it ain’t worse than the flu!

Does anyone find it interesting how the media is now suddenly backtracking on its dangers after it just spent the last year and a half convincing everyone that it was one of the deadliest disease ever?

That would be because in order to survive and propagate, a virus must mutate to become less harmful and more contagious over time.

It was always going to be this way.

Yup that’s why Ebola never spread very much. If the virus kills the host quickly it can’t spread.

Go get your jab folks! The border can only fully open when 75 percent of people are fully vaccinated. Your dictators say so!

They initially said 75% target was for 1st jab. 20% for fully vacciated. We've met and surpassed the target already and we've surpassed that already. Expert Dr. Tam even says so.

Not quite sure when and who decided to move the goalpost again.

Exactly. These politicians love their power over us and will milk this scam for all its worth. By the time they actually do remove the restrictions there will be a new super deadly killer variant and we will all be locked down by the fall.

Inverted I would encourage you to get your jab but as soon as you do that this will change to 80 percent vaccinated required.

You know how to end covid restrictions? Just stop following them.

Did everyone hear how Waterloo is staying in stage one while the rest of Ontario are going to stage 2? Guess who’s booking a haircut outside their region and going to beaches and wonderland outside their region. Way to @#$! your community all for nothing, the virus epicentre is about to flock to anywhere else to enjoy the more normal life on the outskirts.

I just don’t understand the levels of idiotic that keep being imposed. 10 outa 10 dumbdumbs factor.

How are you going to stop following the restriction of not letting foreign travelers in. Noone can fly them in when they aren't allowed.
