Need some night hours

Post by triplebarrel »

I need some night time . Any instructors with a plane or access to a plane near Calgary willing to get me current at night in a 172/182. I dont even know if i need an instructor for this. I need like 10 hours.

The flight schools don't seem too interested. It can be all dual. Or you can sign me off and let me go on my own. Let me know what you think. Just send me a message directly .

Thanks a bunch!

Did you inquire with the place in Beiseker?

Let me know if you talk with them. They’re new so I have not heard anything about them yet.

I sure understand your frustration with FTUs in the area though.

The Calgary Flying Club should change their name to something more accurate like.
“The Calgary wanna be flight college overwhelmed with full time students,”

Their motto could be, “We don’t have enough planes or instructors to just book you in for your occasional flights. Show us the money!”

I completely gave up trying to fly this summer.

I spoke with Jack.. He has two 172s and a 150. He is definitely doing night training. I might jump ship again. Wether or not I’m ever going to go solo again I might as well save money. I have to fly an extra hour just to do circuits at Springbank.
