YVR emergency?

Is something at YVR? There is a large white jet flying circles over the straight for the past few hours, burning off fuel to land I'm guessing?

Where over the “straits”? Abeam Nanaimo? Comox airspace?

Just north of Nanaimo, not in Comox airspace and probably around 3-4000 altitude.

Looked just like that but was flying a race track holding pattern at about 4000' for 4 hours, didn't seem like a search pattern for anything.

CYR107, you'll commonly find the air force and navy there, both Canadian and US. CFMETR is right there, too - Nanoose Bay.
