I got an answer. They said the study that said there’s zero evidence to show closing ski hills stops covid spread, was evidence that ski hills should close to stop covid spread. They also claimed when people can’t ski they also don’t have a social life outside skiing so it’s basically impossible to spread covid when skiing is closed.

Since I can’t argue with stupid. Thought I would move on to other topics.

Here is counterpoints study to tell everyone ski hills were rightfully closed.

Remember, at the beginning of this pandemic ski resorts where identified as major sources of spreading the infection in Europe! People would travel there, have fun, get infected and then bring back the new infection right into their country. But I think you are referring to those simple Canadian local ski slopes for local people with not much indoor activities. Not about those massive ski resorts.

So yes, in a way you are right it sounded very silly. But where do you draw the line? Will you have the time to figure out where to draw it? How will you implement it if you draw it? And each ski slope will be different...

The federal definition of "fully vaccinated" is having completed the full vaccine course (Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca are two doses; Jennsen is one dose) plus having waited two weeks.

Spoke with a MLO today and asked about any future disruptions with any pilots exercising their freedom of choice. Bottom line, there were numerous calls and with some angry pilots that were “stomping their feet and banging their fist” but he mentioned the one thing is they can always count on the pilots to follow suit.
As a MLO he mentioned that 90% of the time he’s dealing with the same 10% of the pilots and the ones that called and were upset are the usual suspects. I was told it falls under the category of “A big bark coming out of little puppy dogs mouth!”

Everyone is going to remain employed with the odd pilot asking for a LOA.

From what I can gather, Canadians were never offered the J&J COVID vaccine in Canada.

They weren't in Canada, but I know a number of people who got a j&j shot while traveling through the US as the we able to get it earlier that way.
